Omni Components Corp. Welcomes Frank Stone as COO/SVP

HUDSON, NH - Omni Components Corp., a leading supplier of precision machined products to hi-tech commercial and orthopedic medical industries, today announced that Frank Stone has joined the company to lead its operational and financial efforts. Stone, as Chief Operating Officer and Sr. VP will report to Rick Holka, President and Chief Executive Officer.
In making the announcement, Rick Holka said "Frank Stone is a highly respected, hands-on leader who brings terrific organizational experience, financial leadership, energy and knowledge to Omni. We are delighted and privileged to have someone of Mr. Stone's ability as COO."
Stone's 20+ year career, marked by a series of successes, has resulted from his skill and expertise in driving growth, controlling costs, increasing margins and nurturing teamwork development. 5-AXIS MACHINING

HUDSON, NH - Omni Components Corp. is pleased to announce that it now offers full 5-axis machining services. Omni has chosen the Okuma MU-400VA 5-axis Vertical Machining platform for this service to enhance their current machining service capability. True 5-axis machining is ideal for the manufacturing of irregular and non-symmetrical components quickly and efficiently. The Okuma MU machining centers combine outstanding positional accuracy and thermal stability with Okuma's THINK control for precisely performing simultaneous 5-axis machining and/or multi-sided operations in one chucking. This technology enables very accurate machining and superb surface finishes on demanding commercial or implant components.

Omni Components Corp. is pleased to announce that it will now be offering Wire and RAM EDM Services. These services are available as a turn-key service or in addition to our precision machining services. EDM Machining has long been known to eliminate any reduction in material strength, to significantly reduce the need for grinding or polishing and to cut more complex shapes over traditional machining. Common metals used in this process include: hardened tool-steel, titanium, carbide, Inconel™ and Kovar™.

the Holka family, but its president shies away from calling it a
