Welcomes Frank Stone as COO/SVP

HUDSON, NH - Omni Components Corp., a leading supplier of precision machined products to hi-tech commercial and orthopedic medical industries, today announced that Frank Stone has joined the company to lead its operational and financial efforts. Stone, as Chief Operating Officer and Sr. VP will report to Rick Holka, President and Chief Executive Officer.


In making the announcement, Rick Holka said "Frank Stone is a highly respected, hands-on leader who brings terrific organizational experience, financial leadership, energy and knowledge to Omni. We are delighted and privileged to have someone of Mr. Stone's ability as COO."


Stone's 20+ year career, marked by a series of successes, has resulted from his skill and expertise in driving growth, controlling costs, increasing margins and nurturing teamwork development. Holka continues, "Frank will make a significant and positive impact to Omni's competitiveness, manufacturing strength and future success. I look forward to working closely with him as he undertakes his responsibilities."

To lessen the impact on patients, minimally invasive surgery relies on small components—in fact, “the smaller the better,” says Jyrki Larjanko, product manager for Johnson Matthey Medical Products (San Diego), which machines a number of minimally invasive parts.

Like an intricate part, the job of machining minimally invasive components includes many details. The manufacturer must choose a machine and its proper functions, select a material, finish the parts, and then verify that the parts meet all requirements.
