Laser Marking & Precision Cleaning

Omni offers Laser Marking and Precision Cleaning services as either a standalone service for Customer-supplied components or incorporated into our comprehensive processes to manufacture your component according to your design.

Laser Marking

For all components requiring markings for text, graphics or bar codes, Omni's laser marking services, featuring Trumpf's Vector Mark Laser Marking system, is capable of laser marking a wide variety of components for critical application in industry and is a viable, cost effective approach.  This non-contact, thermal process is fast, easy and accurate to apply on most components and most materials, plated or not. Control software is able to control the variables needed to produce markings including penetration depth, material removal, serialization and fill characteristics for contrast.  This flexibility enables components to be marked in different ways to achieve different results: Etching, engraving, annealing and ablation.  All program-

ming, setup and changeovers are minimal for a quick turn-around.

Additionally, our 4th axis rotation device enables markings completely around components including registration or scale-type bands, graphics and other marking requirements.

Precision Cleaning

To complete a precision component requires precision cleaning. Vacuum Vapor Precision Cleaning is provided for all critical components requiring a cleaning process more effective than traditional washing methods. This process is efficient, quick, programmable and can accommodate many sizes and shapes.
