Swiss-type CNC automatic screw machines

of longer components and for their ability to efficiently provide precise, close tolerance machining of complex features on small components, first part to last.

Omni's CNC, Multi-Axis, Swiss-type machining capability is built upon its line of TSUGAMI and CITIZEN lathes comprised of M-Series, L-Series and B, C and K Series. Swiss-type CNC, multi-axis machines can meet the demanding needs of most Swiss component designs. Bar diameters of 0.078 inch (2MM) to 1.250 inch (32MM) diameter will accommodate a wide range of these very demanding, precision components.

Simultaneous control of up to 8-axis of machine
movement provides components finished without the need for secondary operations. This flexibility

enables close tolerance, accurate machining of complex features

with complete control.

Omni has increased the effectiveness of these machines with integrated
high-pressure coolant systems. This technology provides
chip control at the tool tip for machining of difficult, stringy metals or
plastics and through-the-tool coolant feed for deep drilling operations.
Automatic bar-loaders further complement our Swiss department by
increasing the production efficiency and yields of precision components.
